Perfect for poolside events, clubs, restaurants, weddings. Michael’s Raw Bar Boats are a perfect addition. Purpose built, these rugged little boats are a stand-out at parties. The site of them draws people to their clams, oysters and shrimp. And for weddings they can be customized with the brides name on the bow.

These boats evolved over the years while Michael Pierce did Raw Bars for private parties and at clubs. The people who use them have found other applications like salad bars, cheese platter, crudité, etc. in catering situations. By removing the ice insert tray and filling with ice it becomes a wonderful cold beverage station or “beer bucket”.

Michael’s Raw Bar Boats are made from 3/4" cedar planking over fir frames with mahogany stem and transom. They are then finished inside with polyester resin and outside with marine varnish. They come in three sizes. The largest two, 87” and 73”, can be used at weddings, clubs and other large parties with up to three active openers for the 73” and four openers for the 87”. The 56” has become very popular for private parties in homes, especialy the Split Version which allows beverages in ice at one end and a tray for mixers, hors d’oeuvres or raw bar at other end. The insert tray, brass drain plug and display stands are included.

The insert tray is used to limit the amount of ice needed (40 lb bag or two 5 gal buckets). The melt goes below so the display is not “swimming”. Water is drained by either pulling the plug at the end of the session or constantly draining with a plug modification. The 73” boat weighs approx. 45 lbs and is easily handled by one person. The 87” boat weighs 50 lbs and can accommodate 4 openers.

The smaller 56” ones are perfect for people who want a one person Raw Bar, a stand-alone shrimp/cheese bar, liquor table or just to fill with ice and beverages. The Split Version is the most popular for personal use with 1/2 use for beverages and the other half for mixers and hors d'oeuvres. It’s like a mini bar.
Raw Bar Boats also make great nautical accents and can be used as dog beds and play boats for wee sailors.
Prices of 56” boat is $2,800, 56” Split Version is $2,900, 73” boat is $3,200, and 87” is $3,600
